today's national track and field finals was soo fun! except for the heavy rain, which made us have to evacuate the stadium twice. actually, the evacuation was pretty silly. by the time we got the sec 1s to 3s out into the shelter, the sec 4s were already freezing cold! :/ THE chinese high boys were so irritating! -grr- they stole our seats under the shelter at the grand stand. so ungentlemanly. that's why cedar was soaked to the skin with smelly rainwater!

but the rain didn't manage to dampen our spirits. (though poor mich's cedar bear kept getting squashed under the pile of wet bags.) the whole school kept on cheering and screaming, during and between events. raffles brought down band drums, which were although really loud, had no cheering to go along with it. so cedar cheered, making use of their drumbeats. haha. could hardly hear myself screaming in all the noise! and everyone walking through the cedar crowd would have their fingers in their ears! even the photographer who kept trying to take a photo of us cheering was plugging his ears with his fingers. lol, that was quite funny. :) pity there wasn't any award for the best cheering school, or something.

wing sing told me he was at the stadium too, but i didn't see him, or anyone else at all. just the cedarians, the seniors, and the strangers with fingers in their ears. too bad. :p
