-sigh- today was the passing out of my squad. i'm sooo gonna miss all my darrrling squadmates. HERMES: the most extraordinary thing about this is the people. :)

it was pretty different from how i expected it to be like. the quarrel between some sqdmates in the morning (come on lah, it's POP!) had really bad timing. then we played this game which seemed oh-so-tiring, but turned out to be super funny instead! andrea and i were laughing so hard, we could hardly complete it. -big toothy grin- the rehearsal for the parade was pretty much of a mood spoiler. it was so boring. and so tiring. we were standing in the sun for so long, while some people practiced the handing over ceremony. anyway, our passing out parade was pretty well done, considering that we were so confused initially.

i guess the best part's the reception after that. the juniors were unbelievably sweet! :D frankly, i didn't expect any present at all, since i've never fulfilled my duty as an NCO. -pouts- they've made me feel guilty for being such a bloody slacker!

aries gave me this absolutely beautiful red rose (which i am definitely gonna dry and safekeep), a damn funny keychain which says 'i had a nightmare! i dreamt i was you'. that was really so cute. :) there was another cute bear keychain, this squishy green toy (i like it! sooo cute!), a nicely done ice-cream stick with my name on it, and this sweet note that said - 'roses are sweet, violets are blue, honey is sweet, and so are you!' i loveee all of you. all these are going into my display shelf, it contains all the things i treasure.

delphinus gave this pretty box (with some cookies and lovely stuff inside), and a note from each of them. oh my, they were all soo cute. and soo sweet! i was just smiling when i read them at home. :) and i got this cookie with ma'am char scribbled on it in chocolate. -melts- i can't bear to eat it, it's still on the serviette, in my room. everything's going into the display shelf too! except the cookie, simply because it's sweet. i think i'll coat it in wax or smt (but there's a nibble in it). -grins-

crater, i feel so bad taking the present from them. i've hardly done anything for them. -sigh- anyway, they gave this really cute handphone pouch was a cross-stitched 'C' on it, for Charlene. :) and this cushion thingy, that was really cute too. thanks! it'll go onto the shelf too. :)

hermes gave individual presents. it was in such a mess, i can hardly remb who gave what! firstly, i gotta thank our NCOs for the wonderful cards and brownie! i just realised that i've been really close to them before. gonna catch up lots after the o's, okay!? :) the cards were so sweet, they made me feel like crying too. wish i could have given you all a big hug! there was a lot of chocolate going around, courtesy of all my darling squadmates. tracy give this cute bookmark, and pearly gave this keychain for us. :D oh, i love youuu lots man!

our CIs also made this jigsaw puzzle for us. woots! 'united we stand, divided we fall.'

plus all the photos we took today! sooo fun, so pretty. all you out there, better send 'em to me! even the song that always gets me into a melancholic mood can't dampen my spirits now.

went on a siamese outing after that. andy made me wait for half an hour, okay! but i had my music to distract me (from the goon who kept staring). haha, no. from all the trains that i watched coming and going! we walked past citylink into suntec already, then tracy said to meet at orchard. WALK SOMEMORE. we just walked around, and saw so many niceNICEnice clothes, esp those in phuture state. but the price, so outta my range. -sighs- the neoprints were soo cute! :D i think i look good there. -fat ego!- at least all the walking made me look slimmer. heh. too bad there was no stayover to round up the perfect day..
