Friday, August 06, 2004 /

today was so much fun! esp since we had a half-day, and i could wear the red-white thingy instead of np uniform this year. heh. the fact that i didn't have enough sleep didn't seem to matter that much after all.

the community singing (or rather croaking, since my voice was so hoarse) was the best part of the celebrations in school actually. the rest of the concert were pretty much dull. i got so many lightsticks, courtesy of sapphio, who picked them off the floor for me. :D 4zed had loadsa fun. like totally! -cheesy grin- people were jumping, and singing their hearts out. i just ignored the fact that my singing sounded bad due to the sore throat, and sang along with them. sooo fun!

had lunch at macs with sqdmates (namely tracy, win, syl & kam), then trooped over to my place so i could take my cough mixture.

and then, we embarked on a *HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL* shopping mission at ps' spotlight. it was fun, but pretty tedious due to our tight budget. -sigh- i'm so poor now. but i still feel this sense of accomplishment at having done such a great job at low-cost shopping! :) bumped into correen (oh no, i forgot how to spell her name!) there. and my dear sqdmates succeeded in embarrassing me, cos of one of her guy friends. -shakes head-

crashed the arcade, and giggled uncontrollably at the horribly gay para and ddr dancers there. i swear, i would have been rolling on the floor in tears had i not been in a skirt! ran into chicken wing there too, except that he doesn't look too much like a chicken anymore. lmao.

pity we had to get home so early though. i was really having loadsa fun! :D tracy asked me a really thought-provoking question before we left. but i guess all that thinking won't do anyone any good, so i'm pushing those thoughts to the back of my head for now.

i need to bathe. but there are men in my room, fixing up this new shelf my mum bought for me.
