i might not have come out alive ! *shivers-

andrea and i had decided to get a manicure. (we really do deserve to pamper ourselves a teeny bit,right?) anyway, since she had this '2 for the price of 1' voucher in some ulu place called 'high street centre'.

the building was quite dilapidated and deserted, the kind that nobody bothers to renovate cos nobody shops there anyway. not that i'm being irritating or mean, but the people there look really awful, like those type of villians in the movies! seemed as though they would pull out a parang or an m-16 and murder us if we provoked 'em.

so anyway, we went in and asked for a manicure,which was $28. that kinda shocked us, cos most places are around $10, 20. but we thought since it was two for the price of one we'd just stick with it. BUT IT WAS DISGUSTING! they only had a few bottles,like what i have at home. they had were of some miserable brand, and all the polish were just caked together! urgh. then she tested black & white french manicure, which i was intending to get, and it was (there's only one word for it) horrifying! looks like blood clot + birds' droppings !

we just made some flimsy excuse about coming back next week,and made our escape. phew!

so scary okay! the people look like witches, with ugly yellow teeth and bright red lipstick! like, hello ? i think they're cheats. such cheap stuff at such a high cost ! even the employee there was grumbling to us when the boss left the room. i can totally understand why !
